Elle Waite is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is currently working with Dr. Katie Dixon-Gordon on understanding the role of emotional processes in the development, maintenance, and treatment of psychopathology, with specific emphasis on borderline personality disorder (BPD). Her primary research interests include borderline personality disorder, suicidal behaviors, dialectical behavior therapy, emotion regulation, social functioning, impulsivity, and psychophysiological assessment. 

Elle specializes in multilevel models and structural equation models using Mplus and SPSS.
