
Krishna Chaitanya Rao Kathala is a Global Engagement Graduate Assistant for the International Programs Office. He will be assisting the Vice Provost for Global Affairs in campus global engagement efforts including strategic partnerships. The Global Engagement Graduate Assistant will report to the Vice Provost and will work closely with other directors and professional staff in the office. Current global engagement efforts include organizing an international research strategy for the University, alumni relations and advancement efforts, producing research and writing that highlights IPO’s leadership on internationalization, strategic recruitment of international graduate students, and developing best practices for implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion into office protocol.
He is currently a PhD student in Learning Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed his Masters in Data Analytics and Computational Social Sciences. He was awarded SBS Dean's Scholarship for Graduate studies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, and a Network Management Specialization from Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur.
