Faculty-taught programs

Christina advises students about opportunities to participate in faculty-led study abroad programs. She earned a B.A. in Spanish, which included spending a year abroad in Spain, and taught English in Costa Rica after graduation with the non-profit WorldTeach. Upon her return, she completed an M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and was subsequently granted a Fulbright fellowship in Brazil. Christina has developed several international education initiatives from the ground up and believes that study abroad not only helps students understand their own cultural values and biases but is also the best way for them to gain the skills necessary for success in a global workforce.
