For immigrants but will accept some F-2 or J-2 if space is available; usually long waiting lists. Classes are free. More information available on the Center for New American’s website.

International Language Institute (ILI):

Intensive ESL course (6 week minimum). More information is available on the ILI website. Free English Language Classes in January are also available, for details see the program flyer.

Jones Library:

Practice English online (available to students and scholars who are already here in the area, as well as those who are expected to arrive here in future months). Please submit the intake form here. Conversation circles continue to run online four times a week and are open to intermediate and advanced level English speakers.
