Meetings on Campus Internationalization
All graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in meetings to discuss the DRAFT UMass Amherst Internationalization Plan. Meetings will be held on the following dates:
Tuesday, April 26 4:00-5:00 p.m. Campus Center #803
Wednesday, May 4 4:00-5:00 p.m. Campus Center #803
The UMass Amherst Internationalization Plan has been in development for two years under the leadership of Professors Joseph Berger and Mzamo Mangaliso – as part of a program between UMass Amherst and American Council on Education (ACE). This past academic year, the DRAFT plan has been discussed with key Faculty Senate Councils, the Student Government Association and the Graduate Student Senate. The DRAFT plan is available for viewing or download under the “Faculty & Staff” tab on the International Programs Office website http://www.umass.edu/ipo/.
The meetings are intended to gather final comments on the DRAFT plan before a revised plan is crafted. Comments on the plan can also be submitted to kstender[at]umass[dot]edu.
