Kyiv School of Economics Partnerships

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) celebrated the one-year anniversary of its partnership with the University of Massachusetts Amherst with two major events. The day began with a symposium featuring four panels with 15 scholars in Ukraine and was conducted via Zoom hosted by the Isenberg School of Management. Gratitude was extended to campus leaders and faculty hosts of the Scholars in Ukraine. UMass Amherst has a unique partnership with the KSE, providing critical academic support in wartime. Ukrainian scholars speaking at the symposium, included Oleg Nivievskyi, Pavel Martyshev, Elsa Besedina, Maksym Obrizan, Myroslava Kushnir, Pavlo Prokopovych, Yuriy Dyachenko, Victor Maziarchuk, Nina Chala, Hanna Zaremba-Kosovych, Anton Liagusha, Borys Kormych, and Peter Chorniy. KSE Rector, Dr. Tymofii Brik gave an inspiring seminar on Resilience of Ukrainian Universities and Communities During the War. Watch the recording of his lecture here.
