The academic calendar site is updated for the new academic year in late August after the end of the UWW (CPE) Summer session and before the start of the Fall term.

UMass Amherst students can take courses at Amherst College, Smith College, Mt. Holyoke College, and Hampshire College via the Five College Consortium.

The Five College Academic Calendar lists important dates at the campuses and deadlines related to taking classes through the consortium.

The Dean of Students Office provides several services to the campus community.  The staff are available to answer questions, advocate on behalf of students, and to connect students and their families to appropriate resources.  The goal of the staff is to respond to individual student needs and concerns.

Our campus’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is central to our mission and is a key component in the success of all that we do.

As a UMass Amherst student, you will be able to complement your intellectual life with hundreds of activities. It starts with where you live: the social and cultural life you will find in the residence halls. Beyond your campus home, the options are endless!
