Education Abroad Peer Advisor

Continue your international experience by helping Education Abroad in our mission to serve the needs of our diverse student body by making international education accessible, desirable, and relevant! Peer Advisors are hired for the full academic year and serve as a resource to students interested in studying abroad by responding to questions and guiding students in searching, applying, and preparing for their study abroad experience. This is a paid position and we will email you in June when applications open. Spring only placements are not available.

Volunteer to be an Education Abroad Ambassador! As an ambassador, you'll contribute to various outreach initiatives such as the study abroad fair, information sessions, tabling events, and more, making a meaningful impact on promoting study abroad opportunities within the UMass community.

IPO Buddy1 Program

UMass welcomes hundreds of new international students to campus each fall, including exchange students from our university partners. The buddy program matches new international students with established international students, study abroad alumni, transfer students, and domestic students in groups.
