As a comprehensive office of international education, the International Programs Office serves as the nexus of international connection and collaboration for the UMass Amherst campus. From welcoming and supporting incoming international students, to preparing students for education abroad opportunities, and fostering opportunities for inter-institutional and research, IPO is privileged to work with so many different constituencies.
While our primary focus is the students, faculty and staff of UMass Amherst, as well as the parents and families of our students, play an important role in the various phases of our students’ educational journeys.
