About Me
Hello! My name is Sierra Curro and I am a senior studying Psychology. I am also a part of the
Commonwealth Honors College. I studied in Seville, Spain for my whole junior year and it was
the best choice I made!!
To choose a favorite memory is impossible but one of the best parts of it all were the people I
met. Studying there for two semesters allowed me to make the coolest friends from all over the
United States and from Spain! A core memory is the American-Spanish dinner I had with my
friends where they made us paella and we made them hamburgers. We also taught them the
cotton eye joe and they taught us flamenco. I will also always cherish the long walks I would
take through the cobblestone roads, the plaza de españa, and along the gorgeous river lined
with palm trees.
While choosing to go abroad was the best decision I made, it was one of the most challenging
as well but that's what made it so amazing! As a peer advisor I would love to share my passion
for going abroad and inspire you to make the leap to do it because you will make some of the
best memories of your life!! My biggest tip is that even if you feel scared to move overseas you
absolutely can do it because you are braver than you think!
