INNOVATE Summer Academy
INNOVATE’s two-week residential immersion program introduces rising high school juniors and seniors to the basic concepts of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity. Students work together in interdisciplinary teams to build a real-world venture that they’ll pitch during the final Demo Day.

This two-month intensive summer program is designed to support student entrepreneurs in accelerating their business ventures. You’ll gain access to faculty mentors, industry experts, and experienced entrepreneurs who will coach you through the process of growing your business. Sessions are held online via video conference.

Institute for Applied Life Sciences Core Summer Research Assistantship Program
Graduate students conducting basic, translational, and clinical research are eligible for the Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) Core Summer Research Assistantship Program. This assistantship includes access to the technologies and instrumentation of the IALS Core Facilities, as well as the technical expertise of faculty and facility staff.

Institute for Applied Life Sciences Core Summer Internship Program
Gain hands-on experiential research and technical training through the Core Summer Internship Program. UMass undergraduate students from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines can apply to a facility of their choosing with this paid, on-campus internship, which includes biweekly professional development workshops.
