RFP: IHGMS Funding Opportunities for Sponsoring Guest Speakers

The UMass Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies is pleased to announce funding support for funding outside speakers on campus or in cooperation with the Five Colleges Consortium.

Preference will be given to public events and where matching funds have been secured from a department, college, or one of the Five Colleges. An upper limit of $400 per speaker should be kept in mind and a total limit of $1600 per requesting faculty member.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Proposals should include information about the speaker(s), relevance to a course or research project, and details regarding whether this will be a public or closed event.
