IALS had the pleasure of hosting Satoko Ishigaki,
Keita Suzuki, Hiroki Masumo, and Taena Uemura of Hokkaido University for a tour of the Core Facilities led by directors James Chambers and David Follette, through the H.U.-UMass Two-Way Professional (Technical) Staff Development Program. As Technical Specialists in the Institute for Genetic Medicine, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere, our visitors each presented highlights of their research. The visit concluded with presentations from some of this year's undergraduate participants in our Core Summer Internship program.
