Seth Glass

Seth Glass is the Director of Centralized Core Facilities at UMass Amherst. He is responsible for administrative management of 30 core facilities, housed in the Institute for Applied Life Sciences (https://www.umass.edu/ials/core-facilities). 

Seth brings 16 years of success in operations, management, and analytics as a strategic management professional. He comes from Penn State where he has been Business Operations Director - Core Facilities since 2018, managing 18 state-of-the-art research core facilities. Prior to Penn State he was Senior Information Systems Analyst at Penn State Health, and Scientific Program Analyst at the National Cancer Institute.

Seth has a BSc in Biology, an MS in Biotechnology Management, and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
