Lizz Bartlett, PhD

Biophysical Characterization Director, Bioproduction/Separation Interim Director

Bringing thirteen years experience as the lead formulation scientist at ImmunoGen, Inc. developing six novel formulations for antibody-drug conjugates, resulting in four patents, in addition to creating a biophysical characterization group. As well as ten years as a lead scientist in Drug Product Development at Genetics Institute (now Pfizer), integral in developing the formulation for BeneFIX, resulting as co-inventor on two patents. Responsible for characterization of the degradation pathways for the drug.

After finishing her education at UMass Amherst and Lowell, Bartlett worked in Portland, ME for Ventrex, a small company developing quantitative diagnostic assays for allergy therapies and therapeutic drug monitoring.

When not in the lab she can be found, coffee and camera in hand, shooting breathtaking photos across the country.
