The Park Lab focuses on the mechanisms of cognitive decline associated with aging, specifically investigating the role of platelets and their factors. We aim to uncover how these interactions contribute to cognitive decline in normal aging and age-related neurological conditions. By studying the complex dynamics of platelet behavior and their impact on brain health, we seek to gain insights that could inform therapeutic strategies to promote cognitive resilience in brain aging.
