The new President and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), Kirk Taylor, MD, visited UMass Amherst at the end of January, which included a tour of the Life Science Laboratories by IALS director, Peter Reinhart. A presentation was made by Karen Giuliano and Frank Sup showcasing the research and projects being done in the Elaine Marieb Center for Nursing and Engineering Innovation. Participating in the presentation and tour was Chancellor Javier Reyes, Massachusetts Representative Mindy Domb from the 3rd Hampshire District, and Massachusetts Senator Jo Comerford (pictured in photo above).
