Dimitri Nikolla, an undergraduate student in chemical engineering, 2023 IALS Core Summer Intern, 2024 IALS Core Summer Mentor, and a student researcher in the Light Microscopy Facility, has received the Gerald F. Scanlon Student Employee of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions to the facility. Nominated by the core's director, James Chambers, this award honors students who have demonstrated exceptional performance by contributing their time and skills to help the university achieve its goals and objectives.
