Get Back Mass COVID-19 Testing Project

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is supporting a team of experts from four University of Massachusetts institutes to conduct this project:

The Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) translates fundamental research into innovative product candidates, technologies, and services that deliver benefits to human health and well-being. Our specific objectives are to: (1) Become a catalyst and resource for ‘applied’ and ‘translational’ R&D activities; (2) Establish industry engagement models and industry collaborations; (3) Contribute to workforce development; and (4) Participate to innovation & entrepreneurship culture on campus. The ICTC Lab is a CLIA certified lab doing COVID testing, antibody testing, and neutralizing antibody testing; applied translational research.

Test Kits

You should receive your test kit within two weeks of submitting your project Survey. If you do not receive your kit within two weeks, please reach out to us at getbackmatest@umass.edu


All participant test kits must arrive to us by September 30, 2022. Any kits received after September 30 will not be eligible for a project reward and will not receive PCR or antibody test results.
