IALS Research Centers (CBD, CPHM, M2M) have generously offered to contribute incentive funds to stimulate novel uses of the Core Facilities as well as subsidize training for student users.
Core Facilities Incentive Funds
All active faculty members of IALS and Core Facility Directors can initiate a request for funds. Funding requests can include:
Small equipment (including new instruments or enhancements to existing instruments)
Materials/operational costs for validation of new service lines, or expansion of existing service lines to users new to a technique
Does your graduate student need training on how to use the new CADworks3D Profluidics printer in ADDFab, the NexION ICP-MS for quantitative metal elemental analysis in Mass Spectrometry, or Light Microscopy's new Nikon AXR with NSPARC or any other equipment?
These funds are intended for all Core training of students in IALS members’ labs.
