Startup founders face a wide variety of legal decisions before they have even created the startup and often before they have identified attorneys with the right expertise to provide legal services and advice. To help UMass Amherst startups and pre-startups address these challenges, IALS Venture Development is offering Startup Law Office Hours for founders that want to gain a better understanding of general legal issues related to startup formation, team development, and working with investors.

Request an office hours appointment: Office hours appointments are available at 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 am. To request a 30-minute slot, send an email with the subject “Requesting an appointment for Startup Law Office Hours” to Joann Chauvin (jchauvin@umass.edu) specifying the time(s) you are available.
