I was an Honors College student here at UMass during my undergraduate studies and have been advising university students since 2017. I studied abroad in Tanzania during my junior year where I conducted independent research that was instrumental to my Honors Senior Thesis. I received my dual Bachelors of Arts degrees in Linguistics and Anthropology and am currently pursuing dual Master’s degrees here in Higher Education and Public Policy & Administration. My academic and professional interests revolve around educational equity and access, specifically as these values relate to language use, ideologies, and policies in the education sector.
