I am excited to join the Honors College community as your new dean.
As a professor, first-generation college student, and mother of an Honors College graduate, I am very committed to undergraduate education and providing students the opportunity to delve deeply into their studies.
Now, more than ever, the ability for students to make a positive impact in the world through their research and academic studies is incredibly important. The mission to create a more just, fair world comes through our collective effort to enact change. It is my hope as dean to continue developing the future generation of leaders of the Commonwealth and beyond through our commitment to building an immersive educational environment and research community, and collectively working together to reimagine a new world.
Commonwealth Honors College Directory
The team of advisors who work directly with current Honors students, providing support and guidance through the Honors requirements and resources.
Provide overall direction, educational leadership, and administration for the college.
Direct and manage major functions within the college.
Share Honors news and stories, and engage alumni and donors in support of Honors.
Faculty with appointments in the Honors College, including those who teach the Honors Signature seminar, Ideas That Change the World, and those who hold joint appointments with other departments. Many more faculty across campus teach Honors courses in their departments and mentor Honors students.
Serve as a resource to prospective students and families, providing information about the Honors College experience and our community of scholars.
