Please join us for a discussion of the film The Specialist: Portrait of a Modern Criminal (directed by Eyal Sivan, France/Israel, 1999) by Dr. Anne Rethmann. Dr. Rethmann, a PhD Fellow of the Jacob Robinson Institute at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will discuss the film, the trial of Adolf Eichmann, and the work of Hannah Arendt in the broader context of Holocaust representation, and the role of testimony and human rights.
