My research interests address issues surrounding race, minority rights, social movements and activism, and Christianity in the United States post-WWII. Some of my past research projects have included recent indigenous land problems, the response of Catholics and Protestants to campus unrest and black civil rights in the 1960’s and 1970’s, and the Church’s framing of health issues during the mid-twentieth century through its hospital ministry programs.
