Professor Julio Capó Jr. has a new piece in TIME, "Best Picture Winner Moonlight Is a Window Into Florida's Past", which focuses on the rich, historical memories that shine through the cinematic masterpiece Moonlight, winner of the 2017 Oscar of Best Picture. It highlights Miami's black and queer past.
Professor Capó has also recently been profiled on website of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
