Professor Asheesh Kapur Siddique's 2024 The Archive of Empire: Knowledge, Conquest, and the Making of the Early Modern British World from Yale University Press has recently received two recognitions.
For it's outstanding historical or critical study on the eighteenth century, The Archive of Empire won the Louis Gottschalk Prize from the American Society for Eighteenth Century Studies
And for it's excellence in writing about the history of the British in South Asia, Siddique's first book was a runner-up for The British In India book Prize.
