An Immersive Visit for Community College Students Considering MassTransfer
The Department of History and Transfer Admissions at UMass Amherst welcome students from MA community colleges to explore opportunities for studying history at UMass!
Join us on campus to meet history students, faculty and staff; connect with transfer advisors; visit history classes; learn about the transfer process and majoring in history; tour the campus; explore our library & archives, including research opportunities for students; and enjoy a free lunch!

Location and Parking
Throughout the day, we will visit various locations on the UMass Amherst campus. The event will begin at 10:00am in the UMass Amherst History Department: 601 Herter Hall, 161 Presidents Drive, Amherst, MA 01003. The history department is located directly beside a public bus stop and free parking is also available. Parking information and a map will be sent by email upon registration.
