The history department welcomes students from Massachusetts community colleges to explore opportunities for studying history at UMass! Join us on campus to meet history advisors, professors & staff; visit a class; learn about the transfer process and majoring in history; tour the campus; explore our special collections & archives, including research opportunities for students; and enjoy a free lunch (ranked #1 Best Campus Food by the Princeton Review!) with former community college students.

Location and Parking
Throughout the day, we will visit various locations on the UMass Amherst campus. The event will begin at 8:30am in the UMass Amherst History Department: 601 Herter Hall, 161 Presidents Drive, Amherst, MA 01003. The history department is located directly beside a public bus stop and free parking is also available.
