2024-25 Editorial Board
Undergraduate Editorial Board:
Rasmus Valade, Editor in Chief, is a history major and sociology minor whose work focuses on American imperialism and Cold War foreign policy. Valade is currently writing a thesis on the impact of the 80's punk countercultural publication, Maximum Rock'n Roll.
Catherine Wan, Editor in Chief, is a history and legal studies double major whose work focuses on modern Chinese history and the Asian American diaspora. Wan is currently serving on the executive board of the UMass Asian American Student Association as Advocacy Chair.
Katie Robertson, Editor in Chief, is a senior history major in the Commonwealth Honors College, and part of the Medieval Studies Certificate program whose work focuses on later English and Italian medieval literature, the feminine body/soul dyad, and theological studies of the Sinner. Robertson is currently writing a thesis on the 15th-Century poem, Sir Gowther, about the path of rehabilitation from undomesticated demonic terror to a saintly domesticated knight, through the facilitation of feminine and canid figures.

Undergraduate Editorial Board:
Logan Moniz, Editor in Chief, is a history/Chinese language & literature double major whose work focuses on ancient and medieval Chinese history. He is currently conducting research for his thesis investigating a set of Tang-era tomb guardian figures.
James Sandler, Editorial Board, is a senior majoring in history with a minor in political science with a focus in education. As a member of the editorial board he helps to review, clarify, and verify submissions alongside his colleagues.
Jonah Scher, Editor in Chief, is a history major and political science minor whose work focuses on the Cold War, East Germany, and modern Latin American history. Scher is currently researching for his thesis on representations of the Holocaust and the Second World War in East German film.
Catherine Wan, Editor in Chief, is a history and legal studies double major whose work focuses on modern Chinese history and the Asian American diaspora. Wan is currently serving on the executive board of the UMass Asian American Student Association as Advocacy Chair.
