Sheher Bano

Sheher Bano is a current Ph.D. student. Her research interests include colonial and postcolonial historiography, anthropology of social marginalization, social histories, histories from a gendered and class lens, trauma and mourning, social protests, histories of work, and labor movements. Her primary area of focus is South Asia, specifically modes of anti-colonial resistance in 19th- & 20th-century South Asia.
