BACKGROUND
Jaehee Seol is a PhD student studying modern Chinese history. She is also pursuing a Public History certificate. She received her BA and MA degrees in history from Korea University in South Korea. After graduation, she worked at the Seonjam Museum researching Korea and China's sericulture and royal rituals. At present, her research interests lie in socialism, museums, exhibitions, and material culture in twentieth-century China.
