BACKGROUND
Heidi Scott is the author of Mining Maps and Enlightenment in the Andes (Brill, 2026) and Contested Territory: Mapping Peru in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries (Notre Dame, 2009), uses historical geography and anthropology to examine the Andes.
