Current Students
The College of Humanities and Fine Arts is driven by a team of dedicated staff and experienced faculty, many of whom are internationally recognized in their fields.
We work to inspire our students and drive them toward success. In turn, they inspire us with their ability to explore established schools of thought and form new ideas. HFA students move on to a myriad of careers, shaping new realities in the world around them by applying the passion and skills they garner as students of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts at UMass Amherst.
Financial Opportunities
A number of scholarships are available to currently enrolled undergraduate students who have declared a major in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Generally, the awards fall into two categories: those specifically designated to help students who will be studying abroad, and those seeking financial support for their academic pursuits on campus.
Internships and the experience, connections, and skills students develop are vital components of effective career preparation. When a substantive internship offers adequate pay, it is easier for students to take advantage of the opportunity. When an internship doesn't offer financial support, we are pleased that the generosity of HFA alumni who recognize the importance of internships makes it possible for us to contribute monetarily to students whose primary major is in the college.
