Sonja Drimmer, art historican and associate professor of medieval art in the Department of History of Art and Architecture, recently recorded an episode of the podcast "Inside My Favorite Manuscript" to discuss an enigmatic 16th-century dictionary of pseudo-hieroglyphs.
Drimmer, with podcast hosts Dot and Lindsey, examined British Library Royal MS 12 C iii, an early 16th century manuscript that purports to be a guide for translating Egyptian hieroglyphs but in reality is so much more than that.
