The Massachusetts Review, a quarterly literary magazine based at UMass Amherst, has been awarded the 2021 Whiting Literary Magazine Prize for journals with medium-budget ($150,000-$500,000 budget).

The University of Massachusetts Amherst will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 with a slate of events honoring those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on the United States.
