The State of Hate and Extremism: Lecia Brooks

Lecia Brooks, director of outreach at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) also serves as director of the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery, Alabama, an interpretive center designed to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of the civil rights movement. Brooks travels around the country promoting tolerance and diversity, encouraging people to do what they can do to oppose intimidation and other types of hate-related harassment.
