Sam Tenorio: "Practices of Black Anarchism"

Sam Tenorio, Northwestern University

Sam Tenorio’s Ph.D. is in African-American Studies (Northwestern University, 2018). Their research focuses on the "carceral state as legacy and vestige of slave ship," approaching the study of carceral geography vis-à-vis black protest. They aim to extend the black radical project to think of black anarchism and focus on children as subjects.
