Interdisciplinary Studies Institute

The Interdisciplinary Studies Institute was founded to be a space for vigorous intellectual interactions between UMass faculty. Each semester, the institute features a themed seminar inviting faculty to discuss and explore the topic based on their own research and interests, with the hope that such exchanges will serve as a creative and energetic resource for the UMass community. Other events include an annual lecture and working groups and colloquia.
