For her entire career, Rachael Rollins has pushed boundaries and challenged the status quo in the pursuit of justice. Working as district attorney for Suffolk County in Massachusetts, Rollins developed a reputation as a progressive, reform-minded prosecutor. She was recently confirmed by the Senate to be U.S. attorney for Massachusetts, making her the first Black woman to hold the role in the history of the Commonwealth.
Virtual Events
Dedicated faculty and staff across the college have worked to ensure students and the campus community continue to ask challenging, critical questions and experience meaningful connections. Through online formats, we've hosted guest speakers and artists and organized conversations around current events. Furthermore, these efforts have seen increased engagement with alumni. Moving events into the virtual realm means alumni from around the globe can connect with UMass Amherst, wherever they are.
