Our Art Matters for the Community at Large

The UMass Amherst Music Program provides a comprehensive education for students from the Commonwealth and beyond through a combination of established and innovative pedagogical approaches. The faculty works cooperatively, focusing on you, our students, and with the goal of inspiring you to realize your full artistic potential while equipping you with transferrable, adaptable skills.

Music has the power to bring people together in a way that transcends physical space. As you go forth as musicians and music educators, remember to share the moving, awe-inspiring, and transformative power of music that propelled you to dedicate your studies to it.

This list includes primary and secondary majors and students who have earned multiple degrees.
