We are excited to announce that the GSG's Travel and Research Government Grant is officially open!

The GSG Travel and Research Grant was proposed by the Graduate Student Government to provide financial support to all graduate students in their academic and professional endeavors. 

Grant funds may be used to cover travel expenses, accommodation, registration fees, and other related expenses. Eligible students must be currently enrolled as a full-time graduate student at UMass Amherst in good academic standing. In order to qualify for the grant, students must have been invited to present research-related work at a conference, or be participating in a workshop/seminar relevant to their field of study.

All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. All applications will be reviewed by GSG Financial Committee members and approved by the GSG Steering Committee. Successful applicants will be notified within four weeks of submitting their application and funds will be disbursed two weeks prior to the event.
