Sororities and Fraternities offer opportunities for UMass Amherst students to be part of a mutually supportive group with strong values and ideals.  Part of being a fraternity or sorority member also means becoming an active participant in the UMass Amherst community, including the Town of Amherst, through support, leadership and service. 9 of our organizations have privately-owned houses in the town of Amherst.
