The Order of Omega is a national honor society that recognizes men and women who have attained high standards of leadership and scholarship in fraternity or sorority life. UMass Amherst is happy to host the Zeta Omicron chapter. The qualifications for membership in the Order or Omega encompass the following areas: outstanding character, scholarship, service, campus involvement and leadership. The following are also required for eligibility:
- Must be of sophomore status and above
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA above the all-Greek average
- Must be an active member and in good standing with his/her fraternal organization.
This is a great opportunity to be recognized for previous leadership contributions and to expand your leadership efforts to the fraternity/sorority system as a whole.
