The dual master’s program in business administration (MBA) and civil engineering (MSCE) at UMass Amherst is an excellent option for you if you want to combine a foundation in business administration with a solid background in civil engineering.
You’ll join a program that allows most students to complete the requirements for both master’s degrees in three years. For the first year, you’ll work primarily on the coursework for the MBA. In the second and third years, you’ll work through the engineering coursework—including an engineering thesis or project—as well as an MBA practicum.
