- be enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at one of UMass' approved partner universities
- be nominated by their home institution's study abroad office
- be a 3rd or 4th year student while on exchange
- study within departments eligible for exchange at UMass (see “What can I study?”)
- meet the UMass Amherst Admissions English language requirements:
