Global Partnerships collects and harmonizes data from various on- and off-campus sources to index the University’s performance on global engagement activities and metrics and suggests process improvements to enhance data culture within the Office of Global Affairs.
The Global Footprint comprehensive interactive dashboard represents UMass Amherst’s commitment to data for the common good and highlights the University’s community’s impact around the world. This information includes figures related to international engagements such as mobility, agreements, a selection of co-publications, grant proposals and awards with international partners.
The Global engagement dashboard should not be construed to represent the totality of engagements, and data is updated bi-annually; should you notice a missing or incorrect entry, please contact Global Partnerships.
Use the UMass Amherst Global Engagement Data Request Form to request reports related to international engagement activities at the university, including study abroad programs, international student and scholar metrics, global partnerships, and travel safety data. It also supports I-20 processing information for new incoming international students. Please complete each section with as much detail as possible to help us fulfill your request efficiently. All data will be delivered securely via SharePoint, and requests are typically processed within 7–10 business days. Submitters agree to comply with UMass Amherst’s data privacy and FERPA policies.
