About Me
Hi, my name is Nathan Chbarbi!
I am a senior Mathematics major with a minor in Computer Science. I studied abroad in the Fall of 2023 with CEA Madrid and in Spring 2024 with CIS Semester in Thailand - Mahidol University.
While I had many incredible experiences and travels during my time abroad, my favorite memories came by living everyday life in a new place. I have fond memories of forming friendships with new people, attempting to learn the language, exploring my host cities, and even the routine of daily grocery shopping and dinners with my housemates. These normal activities allowed me to fully immerse myself in the culture and feel the pace of life in my host country.
The best advice I’d give is to force yourself to try new things while abroad! It’s normal to be nervous or anxious in an unfamiliar environment, but I tried things that I would never picture myself doing and they ended up being some of the best experiences I had while abroad.
