Hi everyone!

My name is Leanna Van and I am a Senior Education and Psychology Double Major with a minor in Business here at UMass. I had the best time of my life aka studied abroad in Florence, Italy during Spring of my junior year with CIS Abroad. Florence is such an amazing place because it has so many landmarks, is easy to travel around from, and is in (obviously) the best country ever, Italy. One of my favorite memories while abroad was being able to walk past the absolutely breathtaking Duomo every day on my way to class! Florence was also the place where I got to meet so many amazing people while abroad and led to me finding lifelong friends that I am still super close with to this day :)

My number 1 piece of advice is: don't be afraid to take the leap because going abroad is such a once in a lifetime experience. It is truly the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will never shut up about it!
