Alisha McBeath

Alisha McBeath joined the Office of Global Affairs in July 2025. In her role, she provides support to the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) team and assists newly admitted students with visa document intake and pre-advising. Prior to joining OGA, Alisha worked as an elementary school teacher and has lived in several cities around the world, including Albertville (France), Vancouver (Canada), London (England), and Pasadena (California). Originally from Vancouver, Alisha holds a B.A. in Education from Simon Fraser University and an M.A. in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, vegan baking, walking her dog Chester, and spending time with her husband, Professor Sean McBeath, of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at UMass.
