Undergraduate Students Invited to Participate in Essay Contest 'Why Do I Learn Languages?' Starting Sept. 9

On the sunny and crisp autumn morning of September 27, 2023, the German and Scandinavian (GSS) Program at UMass Amherst welcomed 65 high school students and their German teachers to campus for a fun-filled day of campus exploration and German activities.

A new chapter by Professor Ela Gezen was just published in the edited volume Berlin International: Literaturszenen in der geteilten Stadt (1970‒1989), out now from DeGruyter.
